Our Mission

The Global Children Foundation primarily provides grants to community-based, charitable, and relief organizations that work with some of the world’s neediest children.
The mission of the Global Children Foundation is two-fold:

• To provide food, housing, and education for children in immediate need.
• Work toward the eventual elimination of starvation and other impediments to the well-being of children worldwide.

The mission of the Global Children Foundation flows from the innate love of parents for their children and by extension, to other children all over the world. Many underprivileged children throughout the world are hungry and suffering. These children are the innocent victims of economic hardships, epidemics, social disturbances, wars, and natural disasters.

Who Needs Our Help?

According to the 2008 State of the World’s Children report produced by UNICEF, almost half of the mortality rate of children under the age of five is caused primarily by poor nutrition.. Thus, currently the majority of our efforts work toward the elimination of children’s starvation.

The Global Children Foundation actively evaluates areas of need and assists children in such areas through monetary support and volunteer efforts.

What Have We Done to Help?

Through our efforts, we have helped feed and educate children in South Korea, Sudan, Vietnam, East Timor, Turkey, Ukraine, Sri Lanka, Iraq, Kazakhstan, North Korea, Cambodia, Mongolia, Peru, Mozambique, Kenya, Malawi, Kyrgyzstan, Mauritania, Haiti, and Japan. We operate entirely on the time and efforts of our volunteers and have virtually no overhead costs. 100% of each donation we receive goes directly to benefit the children.
